The Bark Side Daycare Plus package is designed for owners who want more than just playtime. This full day structured programme is a mix of supervised social interaction with added training and emotional regulation work. Creating balanced dogs that can play appropriately, settle, and respond calmly in everyday environments.

What Makes Plus Different?
Our plus package offers extra carefully planned daily structure. With more focus on enrichment and individualised attention. This supports your dog’s mental, emotional and physical wellbeing at a more targeted level than our standard daycare. With a package tailored to your individual dogs needs.

A Typical Day in Daycare Plus
Your dog’s day begins with a calm arrival and decompression time to ensure a smooth transition into the environment. We prioritise emotional regulation from the start. Reinforcing relaxed behaviour and preventing overstimulation.
Supervised play follows. With dogs grouped thoughtfully by size, age and play style. Play is structured and monitored closely, with regular breaks and recall practice to maintain positive interactions.
The training walk then takes learning outside and around the farm. We practise loose lead walking, calm behaviour around distractions and neutral responses to the environment. This helps dogs generalise their skills beyond the daycare setting.
Our ‘Watching the World’ session builds confidence through calm observation. Dogs learn that they do not need to react to every sound, movement or passing object.
The day also includes enrichment and structured downtime. This helps to prevent overtiredness and supports healthy regulation. Rest is not an afterthought- it’s essential.
We finish with a calm wind down period so dogs return home fulfilled.

Each session includes a dedicated 30 minute one to one training session. This session is tailored entirely to your dog’s individual needs. Whether you’d like help with loose lead walking, recall, settling, confidence building, impulse control or basic manners, we focus on what matters most to you.
What’s included?
This personalised approach means your dog learns in a structured, supportive environment. All without missing out on their daycare experience.
At the end of every session, you’ll receive:
• A detailed training report outlining what was covered, progress made and next steps
• Clear guidance on techniques used
• Easy to follow guidance so you can confidently practise at home
